OK, I know I haven't kept up with my blogging like I hoped I would so this post might be a little long. We've had a lot to celebrate lately. It started at the beginning of the month with a really great Mother's Day/My Birthday weekend. We had a Bar-B-Que in the backyard with family and friends. The kids really enjoyed playing in the pool and eating watermelon, even when the pool turned into a mud pool. We have had so much rain here that the ground is so saturated. So with the kids in and out of the pool they tracked mud all into it, but like I said they didn't mind at all.

Logan had his last day of school on the 14th and I just couldn't believe the school year was over. He had such a great year and learned so much. He really liked having Ms. Joy, the science teacher, visit once a month. He is definitely my nature/science boy. He loves anything that lives in the water, looking at and catching bugs, and dinosaurs. I will have to do another post about our trip to Orlanda in April. We went to Animal Kingdom and Sea World and the kids had a blast!!

So the 9th was my birthday and with some of my birthday money I decided to actually spend it on something for ME. I love to bake and have had my eye on a Kitchen Aid mixer for years now. I just couldn't find it in me to spend $200+ on a mixer. I looked and researched for another mixer that was just as good but less money. I found a really good deal on a Hamilton Beach stand mixer that got great reviews. It is rated by Consumer Reports as a Best Buy. So I ordered it and it came the other day. I'm now looking for something good to make.
My new mixer!!!
We got great news today that Logan has been given a spot in the Georgia Pre-K program right here by the house. I am so excited. I was so worried on Tuesday when I called and they told me that most of the spots had been filled. I called a couple other schools and they said that all their spots were full. Well we got a call today and Logan has a spot, thanks Karyn and Katie!!!! I just can't believe my baby will be going to school all day every day.
So now for the BIG news, we are so excited to announce that we are going to have another baby!!!! Yes it was made offical today at my doctors appointment. Joe didn't want to tell anyone until after the appointment, like the home test wasn't real enough. I am due on January 17, yes another winter baby. We are now praying that it is a healthy baby girl to complete our family.
So there you have it, a long summuary of our last month. I'm really hoping that I can keep up blogging so that I can document this pregnancy.

We actually painted!!!!
OK, I'm the type that doesn't like messy things so I hardly ever let the kids paint. I know that it's bad but I'm trying to get better about it. Logan is pretty good with it but Drew is one messy kid.
So while we were in Florida for Easter break we took the kids to Lowe's for their Build and Grow project. They had so much fun building a birdhouse. And that is what we painted, beautiful birdhouses. The kids have been so fascinated with all the birds we have been seeing in our back yard. So they are really excited to hang their birdhouses outside for their birdie friends. Logan actually named a cardinal, Jackson and another bird, Bob. It is actually quiet funny to see him playing and then look outside and say "look mom, it's Jackson and Bob". Now if it would just stop raining so we could hang them up.

A sweet treat.
Ok, so I keep telling myself that I need to start blogging for real. It's just that I'm not as creative and funny as some of the blogs I read and I just get frustrated. Well, a friend named Heidi has begged asked me so nicely to please update my blog. So this post is just for you Heidi!!!
The other day my neighbor, April, your sister, made some cupcakes. She has been trying out some new recipes and was looking for avictim taste tester. Since I love sweets and homemake treats I was happy to taste one. It was really good!!! It was a dark chocolate cupcake with homemade cherry icing. Logan and Drew were right at my side begging for a taste. April was so nice and gave them each one for their afternoon snack. As you can see in the pictures they LOVED them too. Thanks April for the delicious cherry iced chocolate cupcakes!!!

Bowling!!!!
We took the boys bowling for the first time today with our friends Erica and Ava. We all had a really good time. The kids were so excited and wanted to pick up all the balls. They were also fascinated with the ball return. Thankfully we didn't have any major injuries. We had a lane just for them with the bumpers down and the ramp for them to roll the ball on. They did really good for the first game and then started to lose interest. Then the last 20 minutes we were there they started the cosmic bowling, that was all they needed. The lights went off and the black light and booty music can on. The three of them were dancing all over the lanes having a blast. I tried to get some pictures but the camera I had with me doesn't do good inside with low light. Definitely worth doing again!!
Hey!! Where's my ball?Drew going for a strike!!
Logan, Drew, and Ava * How stinkin cute are they!Cosmic bowling. Time to shake your booty!

Exploding Box
I came across this scrapbooking project called an Exploding Box. I decided to make one for Joe's grandmother, whom we just went and visited in Rhode Island. And I made it from start to finish the two nights before we were leaving. Talk about last minute. But it came out so cute. I really wanted to keep it for myself. Well here are pictures of it.
What Princess are you?
So I found this on Heidi's blog and thought it was cute. I took the quiz and here is the result.
You Are Snow White!
Which Disney Princess Are You?
You Are Snow White!
Pure and trusting. You are a gentle soul who can get along with just about anyone. Everyone you meet instantly falls in love with you. How can they resist? You have a pure, lovable nature that's irresistable. Just don't trust everyone who comes across your path.

So much to Blog and I don't know where to start!!
This will probably be one long post. I need to get better at doing this daily so this doesn't happen. First are some pictures of the boys being just plain silly. I love when I catch cute pictures like this.
Logan with glasses made out of Wikki Stixs
Drew with his fish glassesPeek-a-Boo
I'm so sad to see our leaves already falling from the trees. It has been really dry here this summer. These are pictures of our backyard two days ago. It has rained for two days straight and the tree is almost bare ;0( I love the fall season and I love to see the kids play in the leaves. But ours are all wet and gross. Hopefully the other two trees will hang in there a little bit longer.

Finally the kids are going crazy being inside all day because of the rain. So today we has fun putting on some tattoos. Of course they can't have just one. Logan picked the panda bear for his belly, they eagle for his arm, and the monkey for his leg. Drew, well mommy picked for Drew. I picked a skunk for his belly because he is a little stinker and he wanted the elephant for his arm.
